Health Screening

The best way to keep your body as problem free as it can be is to keep a good balanced diet, take regular exercise, not smoke and to keep your alcohol intake to a reasonable level. This sounds simple but in reality is very hard and therefore sometimes extra screening tests are needed in order to make sure everything is in good working order.

We believe firmly that health screening should be rigorously individualised. What does that really mean? It means that we discuss the merits of all tests before they are done. There are no hard and fast rules and we don’t do batch blood tests based on your demographics. We will only suggest further bloods or investigations based on need.

Regular check ups with your GP can be really useful but sometimes, such as blood pressure monitoring, this is something which is best done at home. We will also take a reasonable amount of emails about your progress after your appointment so you can have the reassurance you need.
